XX SBCBM meeting - experts discuss obesity and metabolic diseases

The 20th Brazilian Congress of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery, promoted by the Brazilian Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (SBCBM), 15–18 May , in Curitiba, Paraná. The event will bring the world´s most renowned experts in the treatment of obesity and metabolic diseases. In total, 1.8 thousand professionals - among surgeons, endocrinologists, physical educators, nutritionists, psychiatrists and others - are registered at the Congress.

European Obesity Day to be held on 18 May 2019

European Obesity Day, held each year to draw attention to Europe’s growing obesity epidemic and the need for better prevention and treatment, is to be held this year on Saturday 18 May. The annual event, organised by the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO), is aimed at increasing knowledge about obesity and the many other diseases on which it impacts.

MGB-OAGB Consensus Conference June 28-29 2018
